Campers will form a band, learn to play an instrument (bass, drums, guitar, keyboard, and vocals), write a song, and at the end of the week perform in a rock and roll showcase at a local venue. The objective of the camp is to give campers a creative outlet, a voice, and an opportunity to be surrounded by other creative people in an accepting environment. Writing and playing a song together brings a sense of accomplishment and leads to a sense of empowerment. It takes an act of bravery to get up on a stage!

Registration for Girls Rock MKE 2020 will open in March.
