Girls Rock MKE can’t operate Girls Rock & Ladies Rock camps without assistance from dedicated volunteers like you!

cAMP POSITIONS INCLUDE:

• Band Coaches • Instrument Instructors • Camp Support •
• Showcase Support • Ambassadors • Year-Round • Workshop Leaders

All volunteers must:

  • be 18 or older (with the exception of Ambassadors);

  • complete a Volunteer Application;

  • attend a Volunteer Orientation Session;

  • review the Volunteer Handbook; and

  • complete a background check.

Are you an organization or educator interested in facilitating a workshop at camp?

Submit your proposed workshop for camp programming consideration by filling out a workshop facilitator application! This application will help us get to know you better and understand your needs to ensure a successful and supportive experience for our campers. We are open to many different topics and partnership arrangments with individuals and community organizations.

Don't have a lot of time or want an easy way to make a big impact? Help with equipment load-in and load-out!
The day before each camp starts, we load up all the camp gear at our warehouse into a UHaul and unload at UWM Zelazo Center. On the last day of camp, we load it all back into a UHaul and return it to our warehouse. This is a big undertaking! As they say, many hands make light work. Simply sign up to volunteer with our load-in/out crew, sign a waiver upon arrival, and jump in - no full volunteer application required.
