CAMP SUPPORT

e.g. Reception, Camper Supervision, Roadies, Gear Techs

Required Availability:
Flexible! Typically 2-4 Hour Shifts

Camp Support volunteers work to keep camp safe, making sure campers are accounted for. They may coordinate drop-off and pick-up, meal time, and volunteer arrivals, and/or help move music equipment and/or furniture during camp.

RECEPTION

Reception volunteers serve as the information center during camp, stationed in the front lobby. They help with daily camper attendance, volunteer check-in, visitor monitoring or escort, and question-answering. Receptionists may be asked to assist with camp operations including, but not limited to, name-tag creation, set-up/clean-up, snack delivery, or temporary camper supervision.

FIRST AID

These volunteers take care of bandage applications, medication, nose bleeds, needs of campers with medical issues, and are the point people for medical emergencies. First Aid volunteers must be CPR and First Aid certified.

ROADIES

These volunteers carefully help load and unload music gear into a truck, and will assist in the assembly of gear and musical equipment. Helpers are needed before camp, at the end of camp, and before and after the Sunday showcases.

TECHS

Volunteer techs are responsible for being at camp to help campers with tuning instruments, restringing guitars or basses, helping with amps or drum kits, or fixing broken equipment. This role is ideal for someone who has experience with guitars, basses, drums, amps, keyboards, and microphones.
