2026 Summer Seasonal Staff Positions

Girls Rock MKE is hiring a Session 2 Camp Director, and 12 Lead Band Coaches and 5 Lead Instrument Instructors (Vocals, Keys, Guitar, Bass, Drums) per camp session. Applications open Monday, May 11 and close at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 26th. Decisions will be communicated no later than Friday, June 5th.

2026 CAMP SEASON

  • Girls Rock Camp Session 1: July 13-17 / July 19 Showcase

  • Girls Rock Camp Session 2: August 3-7 / August 9 Showcase

CAMP DIRECTOR SCHEDULE

  • 8:00AM-6:00PM Monday-Friday + 9:30AM-2:00PM Sunday

LEAD BAND COACH SCHEDULE

Schedule A (Grades 3-5):

  • Monday & Friday 9:00am-5:00pm

  • Tuesday-Thursday 9:00am-11:30am

  • Sunday Showcase: 10:30am-2pm

Schedule B (Grades 6+):

  • Monday & Friday 9:00am-5:00pm

  • Tuesday-Thursday 2:00-5:00pm

  • Sunday Showcase: 10:30am-2pm

LEAD INSTRUMENT INSTRUCTOR SCHEDULE

  • Monday-Thursday 11:00am-2:00pm

ALL POSITIONS-REQUIRED STAFF ORIENTATIONS

All staff are required to attend a staff training and orientation session. Session 1 staff must attend the June orientation. Session 2 staff may attend either session:

  • Saturday, June 27 from 12-4pm (All Session 1 staff. Staff from both sessions is welcome to attend) OR

  • Saturday, July 25 from 12-4pm (Session 2 staff)

Note: All positions are seasonal employee (not independent contractor) positions and require a federal Form W-2 be issued at the end of the calendar year.
