YEAR-ROUND VOLUNTEERING

There are plenty of opportunities to volunteer with Girls Rock MKE outside of our camps! Throughout the year, Girls Rock MKE tables at various community events, puts on showcase performances, and hosts fundraising events to help fund our programming. All of these events are made possible with volunteers who help staff our tables, sell merch, help with set-up and tear-down, and other critical tasks.

Beet Street Festival

Organized by Cactus Club, Goodkind, and Palomino, Beet Street is a one-day outdoor fall festival of music, food, art, and community. The event will be held on Saturday October 5th, 2024 from 1-7pm (rain or shine). 

• Location: S. Wentworth Ave. between Potter (Goodkind) and Russell (Cactus).

• Event Time: 1-7pm

• Volunteer Times: 12:30pm-7pm

Girls Rock Presents: The Dinner Party

Girls Rock is throwing a dinner party! This special special and empowering culinary experience will feature five courses from five of Milwaukee's top women and non-binary chefs to raise funds for Girls Rock. Food runners will be needed throughout the evening to run the five courses from the kitchen to diners.
